Your customer service must be second to none in order to keep your customers happy and on board. If they have a bad experience, they’re unlikely to willingly work with you again. By keeping your employees happy, as mentioned before, you can ensure a great customer service. You may also want to give training to make sure you’re all on the same page.
Know Your Numbers
You can’t expect to grow your company properly if you don’t know your numbers. If you can’t be bothered to keep track of them, at least have somebody you trust in charge of them, and a brilliant accountant.
Offer Complimentary Products/Services
By starting to offer complementary products and services, you can get more interest and sales. You don’t even need to offer these yourself; you could join up with a company that offers them to share client bases.
Keep the Customers You Have
It isn’t enough to get customers and continuously attract new ones. It’s much easier to keep current customers, so you should try to keep the customers you have happy. If you can do that, new customers will come as an added bonus when they recommend you and sing your praises. You can still campaign for new customers, but it shouldn’t be your main focus.
Have a Strong Online Marketing Campaign
A strong online marketing campaign can do your business a world of good. If your campaign isn’t currently doing much good, consider where you could strengthen it. Here are some ideas:

- Build social media accounts and work towards a strong presence by posting consistently.
- Write a blog. Be consistent with your posting here too.
- Pay for PPC and SEO services to help you show up for more qualified search traffic.
- Make sure you use language geared towards your target market for the best results.
- Use social media platforms where you’re most likely to find your target audience.
Turn Into a Franchise
If your business is successful and established, why not take the steps to turn it into a franchise? You could make money for letting budding entrepreneurs use your business model and name so they have a ready made business. This can make your own business more successful by default.
Have a Passion and Enjoy it
If you have a passion for your business, then there’s no way you can fail. Losing that passion is the worst thing that can happen, so find new and exciting ways to keep the passion alive. A bit like a long term relationship! The more you enjoy what you’re doing, the more successful you’ll be.
